Dr Pooja Dassan is a consultant neurologist and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. Pooja graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine in 2001 and trained in neurology at the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She was awarded an MD (Res) from University College London in 2009 for her research looking into novel biomarkers to diagnose stroke.
Pooja works at the London Northwest Healthcare NHS Trust, where she is the clinical lead for neurology, and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Pooja is a general neurologist and treats patients with a wide range of problems including headaches/migraines, seizures, dizziness/vertigo, weakness and numbness, memory problems and so much more. She sub-specialises in obstetric-medicine, reviewing pregnant women with neurological problems such as headaches, epilepsy, carpal tunnel syndrome etc. She also counsels women with pre-existing neurological problems who wish to fall pregnant.
